Growing up together, Conor and I shared all our firsts.
First love, first kiss, first…
Not all our firsts.
We were sixteen the night she was violently assaulted while I helplessly watched.
I’ll never forget the sounds of her suffering.
Or my inconsolable agony when she left Oklahoma.
Years later, she returns to honor our teenage pact.
Except the boy she loved is gone, replaced by a ruthless cattle rancher knotted with secrets.
She doesn’t know my dark cravings or the trails of sin that lead to her.
I don’t deserve her, but one truth remains.
★★ LORI'S REVIEW ★★
Passion. Power. Emotion. This story overflows with each of those. When I read a book by this author, I feel it deep down in my soul, and Knotted was no different.
In true Pam Godwin fashion, she knocked my fucking socks off. Even if you don't read cowboy romance, please, please try this one. Unlike any cowboy books I've read, this one is full of raw, powerful, and intense goodness…dark deliciousness that left my heart pounding so many times. I experienced gut-wrenching pain that had me struggling to breathe. At times, I thought I was going to lose my mind. And yet, I also felt so much love… it made my heart feel happy & full.
Jake exudes an air of masculinity that made my knees weak and my body tremble with excitement. So alpha. So strong & rugged. So fucking sexy.
Conor is such a strong, admirable heroine – beautiful, courageous, determined, fearless.
Their relationship is an unbreakable bond. A love so fierce I could feel it, and only wish to experience it.
A horrific act of violence takes place, ripping apart the close-knit group of four: Jake & Jarret (twin brothers), Lorne & Conor (brother & sister). As the story unfolds, and the secrets come to light, the author takes your heart, stomps on it, then slowly pieces it back together and sends you off with a kiss on the cheek and a slap on the ass. Just the way I like it. I was so satisfied, I needed a cigarette after I finished. And I don’t smoke.
I am deliciously sated and I anxiously await the next book in the series.
Put your cowboy boots on, saddle up, and get ready for a ride. Giddy. Up.
New York Times and USA Today Bestselling author, Pam Godwin, lives in the Midwest with her husband, their two children, and a foulmouthed parrot. When she ran away, she traveled fourteen countries across five continents, attended three universities, and married the vocalist of her favorite rock band.
Java, tobacco, and dark romance novels are her favorite indulgences, and might be considered more unhealthy than her aversion to sleeping, eating meat, and dolls with blinking eyes.
