Love is the one emotion they just can't shake off.

Part One of a Three-Part Story.

Chloe McCarthy has one rule when it comes to sex: one night, no strings. But for Logan Tanner, she made an exception.

Big mistake.

When he breaks off their ongoing friends-with-benefits arrangement for someone else, reality hits her hard. She's all alone and plummeting toward rock bottom. Until she runs into the one guy who can always make her smile. Matt Langston--mechanic by day, bouncer by night, ripped-and-tattooed-hot 24/7.

Matt would know that pink-tipped platinum-blonde hair anywhere. It's Chloe, doing a half-naked walk of shame. He knows she's no saint. Then again, neither is he--but he's no douchebag either. Her slumped shoulders and tear-stained cheeks ignite his protective instincts even as his better sense warns him she's a threat to his no-drama lifestyle.

As their friendship deepens, however, mutual desire reaches the boiling point. Chloe's body hungers for Matt as a lover--but the last thing she wants is to ruin the best thing that's ever happened to her with the best sex of her life...

Warning: This romance is appropriate for age 18+ only.

*The Fragile Line is a spin-off to The Fine Line, told in an addicting three-part romance novella series, with each part building on the last. Parts One, Two, and Three must be read in order. Reading The Fine Line first is not necessary, but will provide a further introduction to the characters which may enhance the overall reading experience.

★ Lori's Review for Part 1 ★

I was so excited for this one! This novella was absolutely perfect. And since I read The Fine Line first, it made it even better than perfect. It isn’t necessary to read The Fine Line first, but it will definitely add to your reading experience, make you enjoy it that much more.

We meet Chloe & Matt in The Fine Line. I was VERY interested in Matt then…and Chloe…hmmm… well, let’s just say I needed a lot of convincing that she was not all bad.

Chloe is one of “those” characters. You know, the ones you love to hate. Well, after reading The Fragile Line, you can’t help but understand her a little bit better. You get inside her head and know how and why she feels the way she does – ever since the betrayal from her past. I thought for sure there was no way I’d be able to open my heart to Chloe, but with Ms. Kobishop’s fabulous storytelling, you can’t help but fall in love with her.

We caught glimpses of Matt in The Fine Line. I was intrigued. And I’m very happy that we get more of him. In this book, we get to see his full personality – and it’s freakin’ fantastic! He’s funny, smart, and a whole lotta sexy! The banter between him & Chloe was great – loved it!

Usually with novellas, they fall short with details, character development, and the feels – NOT the case with this one! You get everything you love about a great book. I teared up, laughed, smiled, and fanned myself during the sexy times.

I love this author’s writing style – easy to follow & understand, with a story-line that will capture your attention from the beginning. I devoured this! Sassy in all the right places, sweet where it needs to be, and steamy right when you need it most.

I cannot wait to read the next one in the series!

The only way to have her heart's desire is to risk losing it all.

Part Two of a Three-Part Story

Chloe wants more than anything to FML--follow Matt's lead. It feels right to be with him, even with his family. But in the past, every time she's given her trust, it has torn a chunk out of her heart.

Things are moving too fast, but she feels powerless to put on the emotional brakes. She senses Matt is holding something back. Something that could spell the end of what they have.

Matt is ready to take the next step in his life. One dream calls to him with a once-in-a-lifetime career opportunity. The other--Chloe--sears his soul with eyes that tell him she's not ready to follow.

Long ago, he gave forever love a chance and got burned in the most humiliating way imaginable. This time, the only thing he can offer is one night they can both look back on. And hope that one day, the warmth of that memory will draw her back into his arms.

Warning: This romance is appropriate for age 18+ only.

★ Lori's Review for Part 2 ★

I absolutely loved this continuation of Matt & Chloe's story! Again we get flawless writing, delicious angst, and scenes where the chemistry is super hot. When these two are together, you can feel their passion - they are perfect for each other.

Ms. Kobishop does a fabulous job at giving the reader all the feels. Her writing and storytelling will put you right inside the story. I need to know what's going on in the characters' heads and feel what they're feeling - and that's exactly what the author gave me.

In this part of the story, we get a little of Matt's past. We find out what broke his heart, we feel his pain, and we get to know this sexy beast a little bit better. *swoon*

We also get to meet Matt's family - I loved them. I always enjoy family scenes where there's humor and love and witty banter. His family is awesome and I could totally picture myself hanging out and having a good time with them.

I adored Matt & Chloe in Part 1, and this story made me love them even more. I'm confident you will love them too. Just make sure and read Part 1 before this one. ;)

When the last spark of hope fizzles, love can light the way home.

Part Three of a Three-Part Story

In her heart, Chloe knows she's done the right thing to let Matt go. Her old life of clubbing, drinking, and hookups is over, but she isn't finished growing into the person she wants to be, much less a woman who's worthy of Matt's love.

She's not exactly moving on, but she's moving forward. Until she catches a glimpse of Matt on TV as one of the cast of the American Muscle reality show. And that's not all. He's holding hands with his co-star, Dalton Davis's beautiful daughter, Ava.

When Chloe walked away from Matt, he made a decision: he'd wait for her as long as it took. Meanwhile, he doesn't see any harm pretending to be with Ava just to appease her father--at first. But he can't pretend, not even for the cameras. Trouble is, Chloe has only seen half the story--the half that's a lie.

It may take a tragedy to bring her close enough to tell her--and show her--the whole truth.

Warning: This romance is appropriate for age 18+ only.

★ Lori's Review for Part 3 ★

This was exactly what I needed! We get sexy & BA Matt again, we get more Pink (aka Chloe), and thank goodness, we get closure!

Ms. Kobishop did an excellent job wrapping up this story. Feelings were admitted, love was professed, and amends were made.

Matt & Chloe have both grown so much since book #1 - getting emotionally stronger for themselves, and for each other. I got all the feels while reading about these characters I've grown to love. I'm going to miss these two, but they will always have a spot in my heart.

This was the perfect conclusion to Matt & Chloe's story. Well done, Alicia!!
