★Blog Tour & Review★ DARK SEXY KNIGHT by Katy Regnery

Dark Sexy Knight
by Katy Regnery

From New York Times bestseller Katy Regnery comes another timeless tale of love everlasting!

Loosely inspired by the legend of Camelot, Dark Sexy Knight tells the story of dinner theater knight Colt Lane, who meets down-on-her-luck Verity Gwynn on the worst day of her life. Evicted from their home, Verity and her special-needs brother, Ryan, must find jobs or risk being separated. Colt, who is the furthest-possible thing from a white knight in real life, comes to their unlikely rescue, quickly cementing his place in Verity's heart.

Colt has dark, deeply buried secrets that keep his smile hidden and his eyes down, which has kept people away . . . until he meets Verity, who seems immune to his gruff manners and taciturn ways. The more time Colt spends with her, the more he longs for her sweetness in his life and yearns to be the knight in shining armor she so desperately needs. Certain he will lose her if she learns the truth about his past, he must decide if he can trust her with his yesterday in order to build a beautiful tomorrow.

**Contemporary Romance. Due to profanity, mild violence and very strong sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.**

★Lori's Review★

There aren’t too many books that I want to reread… Especially right after I finish the last page. THIS was one of those books. I couldn’t wait to get to the last page, yet I never wanted it to end. *sigh* I normally start another book soon after finishing one… not the case with Dark Sexy Knight. I just wanted to process, and reminisce and keep on loving everything about it. This beautifully written story is captivating, its characters step off the pages and pull you in, making you FEEL everything.

The author’s exceptional writing allows you to immediately connect with the characters, fall in love with them, and find a place for them in your heart. Her phenomenal storytelling will make this love story stay with you long after you've finished. I read this a week ago, and I cannot stop thinking about the story and its characters.

Colton Lane is utterly swoon-worthy and is one of the sexiest, growliest alphas I’ve read. So badass, yet SO caring, sweet, and romantic. He starts off as standoffish and gruff, but by the end of the book, you’ll realize he’s just a big ol’ teddy bear with a heart of gold and he’ll reduce you to a big pile of goo.

And Verity… sweet, sweet Verity. I couldn’t love her any more if I tried. So beautiful – inside and out, so caring, and so very charming. The chemistry between her and Colton is electric, off-the-charts smokin’ hot, and so very perfect. These two will OWN YOUR HEART! The love she has for her brother is heart-warming and absolutely precious. You see that same love and caring manner with Colt and his cousin, Melody. This makes the bond between Colt & Verity that much stronger. That much more special. Again, swoon. <3

I have several parts of this book highlighted. So many scenes made me swoon, so many made me FEEL. So many parts squeezed my heart and just about all of it made me feel so good. And I cannot write this review without mentioning the first kiss. Sweet. Baby. Jesus. That first kiss. I, admittedly, am a first kiss snob. The first kiss in a romance better knock my socks off and stir up some tingly feelings…everywhere. And the first kiss in DSK did the job! Katy NAILED IT! I have reread that scene numerous times because it is just that delicious. Nice job, Ms. Regnery!

I want to scream out loud how much I loved this book. I want my own knight. I want Colton Lane. I want Katy Regnery to write romance stories forever.

This book has immediately been added to my top reads. Dark Sexy Knight is one of the most romantic love stories I’ve read. I have added Katy to my list of automatic 1-click authors - I would buy any of her books without even knowing what they’re about. I haven’t read all of Katy’s books, but the ones I have read are proof enough to me that this woman knows how to write romance. When you read one of her books, you live & breathe the story. I highly recommend this book – everyone needs this book in their lives!
